About Me

Aaron So
Landscape Architecture Student @ UGA
Hey there! I'm Aaron.
I'm a second-year Landscape Architecture student at the University of Georgia, driven by a passion for sustainable urban design and creating spaces that bring communities together. My ultimate goal? To reshape urban environments into vibrant, walkable, and green spaces that inspire healthier, more sustainable living.
As someone deeply inspired by transformative projects like highway caps and complete streets, I aim to design urban spaces that prioritize people over cars, blending functionality with beauty. I believe thoughtful design has the power to reconnect communities, promote equity, and reduce environmental impact – values I strive to bring into every project I touch.
Outside of the studio, you'll often find me engaging with campus life through organizations like the Filipino Student Association, Circle K International, CED Ambassador Program, Georgia Landscape Magazine, and Georgia Students for Landscape Architecture. I also love exploring cities on foot, trying out new foods, and capturing the world through photography.
Let's connect! Whether you want to chat about urban design, sustainability, or shared interests, feel free to reach out via email or LinkedIn. I'm excited to share my journey and learn from others along the way!
