Based in New Jersey, Greg DiNapoli is a graphite artist specializing in landscapes and architectural subjects working in the style of realism. Greg approaches his architectural subjects similar to how a portrait artist would approach drawing a person, capturing all of the textures and nuances that give each subject its unique personality. He studies how light interacts with each subject and through varying pencil strokes and careful attention to value contrast, he attempts to create textures that lift the subject off of the paper and bring the architecture to life. Greg's work has been featured in Artist's Magazine, Creative Quarterly Journal and he has received several AIP awards of excellence.
