About Me

Md. Mahidul Islam Mahi
Student
I’m an architecture student from CUET, Bangladesh, with a strong passion for sustainable design, urban transformation, and heritage preservation. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve worked on diverse projects—from studying vernacular courtyard houses in Natore to designing a three-layer pedestrian system for a busy commercial zone in Chittagong.
My interests go beyond design aesthetics—I’m drawn to how architecture can solve real-world problems. I’ve researched thermal comfort and daylight in reading rooms, and explored adaptive reuse in heritage sites like the Natore Rajbari, proposing ways to revive historic spaces with modern functions.
I’m also passionate about architectural visualization and continuously work to improve my skills in rendering and design communication. I’m looking for affordable opportunities to pursue my master’s abroad and am actively seeking remote internships to gain international experience, grow professionally, and support myself financially.
To me, architecture is not just about creating spaces—it’s about improving lives, respecting context, and designing a better future.
