Matthew Ngango
Student
Matthew Ngango is a final-year international Master of Architecture student from Uganda. He has been a graduate assistant with the Community Research + Design Center (CR+DC), a teaching assistant for undergraduate classes, and a graduate advisor for the Clemson Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (cNOMAS). He serves as co-vice president of the Graduate Architecture Professional Partnership (GAPP) and a School of Architecture Student Advisory Committee member. Matthew prioritizes personal growth to strengthen team dynamics and project success. He aims to foster collaboration across built environment disciplines in practice and academia in the USA and Uganda. His achievements include awards and fellowships such as the AIA COTE Top Ten for Students Award, SARA National Student Honor Award, HKS Southeast Design Fellowship, Clemson University School of Architecture Martin Davis Award, and the TB Kendrick Architecture Fellowship.
