Ruben Alamo
Senior 3D Visualization Artist at Gannett Fleming
Ruben is a Senior 3D Visualization Specialist and CGI Artist with more than 12 years of experience in architecture, engineering, graphic design, and film. His passion for design and cinema led him to obtain a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) while taking film and animation courses. As a film production assistant, Ruben has worked with Oscar-nominated actor John Malkovich (“In the Line of Fire”) and Emmy Award-winner Claire Foy (Netflix’s “The Crown”). He has worked for clients such as Salesforce, Amazon, and Krispy Kreme. Ruben is fluent in English and Spanish.

As part of Gannett Fleming’s Visualization Studio, he works with an experienced and talented group of engineers and planners around the country providing visualization services on a variety of transportation projects including state and local roads, interstates and interchanges, bridges, toll roads, intelligent transportation systems as well as transit and rail facilities. Ruben distills complex ideas and processes down to digestible information via infographics, animations, websites, handouts, and still images. Responsibilities include developing high-quality 2D and 3D visualization content (still images, animations, fly throughs, etc.) for proposal and presentation purposes, to support project and client needs during the project pursuit and project delivery phases, and for the development of scope and cost working directly with local and national project managers, engineers, planners, and marketing staff.

Ruben has advanced proficiency in Architecture, Engineering and Construction visualization software such as 3DS Max, Vray, Vantage, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom), Forest Pack, City Traffic, Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, TwinMotion, as well as with incorporating Wacom Cintiq Pro digital tablet into the creative process and workflow.
