Join us in welcoming Stefan Vittori of Tangram 3DS LLC as the newest member of ASAI’s Executive Board as Vice President for 2023. He will step into the President’s role for 2024 and will host the AIP 39 International Competition and Conference.
Stefan, has been a member of ASAI since 1999. He is a native of Austria, was a pioneer in the 3D modeling, graphics, and architectural visualization industry in Vienna before moving with his family to the Boston area to head the 3D Graphics department for several architectural offices and design studios, successfully creating and managing in-house 3D departments and profit centers. In 2003, Stefan decided to strike out on his own by founding Tangram 3DS, an architectural visualization studio that marries technology with creativity to provide clients with tailor-made solutions for their expanding 3D rendering and visualization needs. Over the 20 years as the leader of Tangram 3DS, Stefan has built a team of award-winning 3d artists and designers, vastly expanding the company’s scope of services to grow Tangram 3DS from a 3d rendering studio into a full-service digital marketing agency.
While successfully guiding Tangram 3DS through the financial turmoil of the early 2000’s, Stefan also found time to explore other creative avenues. Between 2010 – 2015, Stefan was the founding partner of solus4, an Architecture, Interior, and Planning design and research firm. With his background and specialized skill set in 3D architectural visualization and animation, along with a sharp eye for illustration and design presentation, Stefan greatly enhanced the company’s ability to identify the essential components of each project to create optimal solutions for the client’s specific goals in his position as the Managing Principal and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of solus4. In 2016 Stefan created VIZUTIL, an e-commerce platform for the online purchase of high-resolution photo content, having recognized the need to develop libraries of culturally diverse people, naturally posed and photographed, to superimpose into 3d renderings and video productions. In 2019 Stefan founded DCC-X, a consulting company providing the Real Estate Industry with custom digital and immersive solutions through Virtual Reality applications. `
With over 30 years of experience, Stefan has become a well-recognized specialist and business leader in 3D visualization and animation. His award-winning work has appeared in international magazines, training books, online galleries, and television features. Throughout his career,
Stefan has worked on an incredibly wide range of projects of all scopes and sizes in domestic and international locations and diverse fields of design. As a 3d artist, he has taken first and third place in the 3D “Animago” competition in Germany and placed among the finalists at the 3D festival in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stefan also taught 3D architectural visualization in Vienna, Austria and led seminars and presentations at Build Boston, the largest convention for the building industry on the East Coast between 2000 and 2004. Stefan prides himself on being a hands-on, collaborative CEO who believes that a successful project depends on the client and studio crafting a shared vision and building a trusting partnership. From his first days in the architectural visualization industry to today’s constantly evolving and technology dependent world, Stefan’s passion and expertise for his work shine through every project.
