Maksim Koloskov
After graduating from Moscow Architectural Institute (MArchI) with master’s degree in architecture, I moved to the United States in 1995 and settled in Houston. I started working as designer with Gensler and later with the Rottet Studio, where hand sketching and quick renderings were always my tools of choice for presenting ideas and conveying design intent. While still working on my own projects, I was also getting requests for renderings and got involved with that as a separate business.
My illustrations helped clients win competitions, secure projects, and gain approval from city councils as well as secure funding for organizations and foundations. Working with art directors, photographers, and branding agencies, I have contributed illustrations for national and international ad campaigns and branding strategies.
Jon Soules
Jon Soules currently serves on the board of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators. As president of the ASAI in 2015, he hosted AIP 30 in Toronto, Canada with the exhibition opening at the University of Toronto Eric Arthur Gallery. Jon is the recipient of multiple ASAI Awards of Excellence for renderings and observational work and a three-time finalist in the ArchiGrafika juried competition in Moscow, where he received Special Jury Mention in 2020. A Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and member of the Ontario Association of Architects, he continues to practice architectural design, drawing and watercolour.

Wilson Deomampo
Wilson Deomampo is an award-winning architect, urban designer, and architectural illustrator with more than 35 years of international experience. He is the founder of Wilson D Design International and serves as Creative Director & Associate at WATG in Tustin, California, where he leads the design and master planning of hospitality, mixed-use, and urban development projects around the world. A passionate advocate for architectural illustration, Wilson embraces all forms of drawing—from traditional hand sketching to digital media and emerging AI tools—as powerful methods for design exploration, communication, and storytelling. He credits much of his creative inspiration and professional success to the unwavering support of his wife, Pauline, and his family.
Taro Narahara
Taro Narahara is an architect, media artist, researcher, and tenured Associate Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology. A licensed architect in New York and Japan, he practiced at SOM and Gluckman Tang Architects, contributing to the Mori Art Museum. His work bridges architectural visualization, AI, computational design, and immersive media, with exhibitions at ACM SIGGRAPH and the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture (UABB) in Shenzhen. In 2026, his projection-mapping work was selected among 18 finalists from 412 submissions and won TOKYO LIGHTS’ Audience Award by public vote. Recognitions include ASAI’s Thematic Award, an Architizer Vision Awards Special Mention, Harvard’s Peter Rice Prize, IEICE, and NII awards. He holds a Doctor of Design from Harvard GSD and an M.S. from MIT.
Tom Gastel
After working as an architect in San Francisco and Boston, Tom Gastel worked for ASAI co-founder Frank Costantino. Later, as a freelancer, he completed numerous commissioned illustrations for Princeton Architectural Press and various prestigious universities, including Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. Since 2016 he has been employed in the illustration studio at Nikken Sekkei in Tokyo, under the direction of ASAI Past President Masaaki Yamada. Tom is excited to help ASAI to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie in the future for the architectural visualization industry. These challenges and opportunities will be the main focus of the ASAI conference in Tokyo in 2025.
